Relationship isn’t really about fate or true love. Relationship is all about making it work. You are bound to be broken up with if you are ALWAYS clingy, annoying, etc. That is inevitable unless you fix yourself. That is why first love is unanimously unsuccessful.
People break up for good reasons, and it’s not easy for them to make the choice either. Humans make mistakes. It is most likely the things you did that reinforced their decision.
In my case for an example, she left me because she realized she was harming me near the end.
There are some relationships that are worth fixing. And even if your ex was bad in the first place, you will learn by experience. In the future, that will help you know which relationships are worth fixing, etc. At least you’ll be one step ahead in experience because you would have experienced getting back together with an ex.

I’m going through this horrible time at the moment. We have been hanging out and seeing each other for the year after 8 years together. She’s with someone else but I really want her back. Honestly, i’ve seen and read loads of articles on how to get your ex back and in my honest opinion, They all make sense… But we need to understand why keeping your distance actually works… And it’s all to do with ‘investment’. Attraction is all to do with how much you invest in something… The more you invest in it, the more attracted you’ll be towards it, so becoming scarce and disappearing will make your ex start to think about you (Investment)
